This 2 1/2" x 5' hose is used with the Hose Monster for flow testing and flushing from hydrants. It is best suited for use on the pumper port using a reducer to 2 1/2" NST so that the hose comes straight out from the hydrant to the street. If a hydrant is positioned about 5' from the curb, this configuration puts the Hose Monster and the flowing water directly in the street gutter with minimal interference with traffic.
