The Pitotless Nozzle is designed for taking precision flow rate measurements without a pitot. You’ll never have to shut down in the middle of a test to change out a pitot because it got hit by a rock. Use this Pitotless Nozzle with the 2 ½" Hose Monster in fire pump testing, fire flow testing or unidirectional flushing: or mount it directly on a hydrant, test header valve or any fixed 2 ½" outlet.

The 2" Pitotless Nozzle is FM approved for flow rate measurements from 500 GPM to 1475 GPM. Please refer to the instructions and flow charts before purchasing. They are included with each Pitotless Nozzle and are available for download from our literature rack.

Note: The Threaded (THD) Pitotless Nozzles cannot be connected to the Little Hose Monster. Use the Grooved (GRV) Pitotless Nozzle for the Little Hose Monster.

When using a Pitotless Nozzle with either the HM2H or HM2HF, a Spanner wrench (WSPA104) is required.

When using a Pitotless Nozzle with the Hose Monster, a Remote Reader is recommended. The Remote Readers are available in 12’, 40’ and 60’ lengths and ordered separately. The Monster Tester can be used in pump test applications instead of a remote reader.
